Watching Innaz Communique in action was like witnessing a symphony of pandemonium and creativity come together flawlessly. Every challenge was met with quick thinking, and every moment was filled with energy and passion. This was a masterclass in planning and execution. And we were thrilled to be there, capturing every behind-the-scenes moment that made this spectacular wedding come to life.
Day 1: The Calm Before the Storm
It all started with a flurry of meetings. Innayat, the mastermind behind it all, gathered the entire team for a technical briefing. From hotel staff to the hamper crew, every detail was meticulously planned. While discussions buzzed in the meeting rooms, the ballrooms were transforming into works of art. The hampter team were in full beast mode, prepping over 300 hampers to be delivered to guests. Trust me, the hustle was real, and this was just the beginning.
Day 2: Setting the Stage (Literally!)
The vibe shifted as multiple teams got into action. Steve Decor was busy turning spaces into dreamy wedding venues for the Behrano, Misri, and Engagement ceremonies. Meanwhile, the sound and lighting teams, led by DJ Danny, were unloading gear and setting up for the upcoming events. Over at GulpBKK, the alcohol lineup was getting organized because, let’s be honest, what’s a wedding without a good party?
Guests started arriving in from around the world, greeted warmly by the RSVP team, alongside the Intercontinental’s check-in crew. And because first impressions matter, a marching band was ready to welcome everyone with style.
Day 3: The Official Kickoff
Officially Day 1 of the wedding functions, and the energy was next level. The Beharno/Misri kicked things off, followed by a lively after-party. Major guest arrivals filled the hotel lobby with excitement, as decor teams worked in the ballroom and the catering team set up their mouth-watering stalls. Meanwhile, meetings with The VR Family were in full swing, planning the grand entrances for the bride and groom.
For the first time ever, a full salon setup was created to give guests an authentic experience. It had a chic exterior, and a cozy drinks bar inside where people could relax while waiting for their appointments, all thanks to Herman. The evening wrapped up with an unforgettable after-party, with Amman Singh Nagpal on the decks, keeping everyone dancing late into the night.
Day 4: Weather Woes & Colorful Wins
Here’s where things got interesting. The plan was to host the Mehendi by the pool, but Bali’s unpredictable weather had other ideas. Rain poured, and Innayat had to make the tough call to move everything indoors. But if you think that dampened the mood, think again! The team pulled off a pop-art-themed Mehendi that was bursting with life. Guests indulged in everything from perfume-making and caricature painting to reflexology massages - all while getting their hands beautifully adorned with henna.
Day 5: Rituals, Rings & Revelry
The day kicked off with two Ghari ceremonies happening simultaneously. The afternoon rolled into a beautiful Civil Ceremony, followed by an epic after-party. By now, the entire crew—from decorators to the sound team—was moving like a well-oiled machine. When you’ve got this many moving parts, timing is everything!
Day 6: The Grand Finale
Ah, the wedding day. But of course, Bali had one more curveball to throw. The weather was, let’s just say, less than cooperative. Rain and strong winds forced another quick decision - Innayat decided to build a tent over the mandap and delay the Baraat and wedding until the evening. And guess what? It worked. The skies cleared just enough for the ceremony to proceed beautifully.
While all this was happening, another ballroom was being prepped for the Big Bang Sangeet. The salon was packed with guests getting glammed up, stage rehearsals were in full swing, and the excitement was palpable. And as the night rolled in, the celebrations wrapped up with a reception under the stars, fireworks lighting up the Bali sky—a perfect end to an unforgettable wedding.
